what the heck is MRSA? Should I be afraid to ask that question and just how gross was it, cuz ya know we all want to know! girl, I bet you have some stories to tell!!!
Hey, I always tell my husband, "I may not be able to knock you out but I'll kill your ass when you're sleepin"
Beth:L I admit I did kick his arse while he was sleeping, and I was so good he didn't even know it...
MRSA: Oh know Beth are you trying to make me spell...
MRSA: Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a specific strain of the Staphylococcus aureus bacterium that has developed antibiotic resistance to all penicillins, including methicillin and other narrow-spectrum β-lactamase-resistant penicillin antibiotics.[1] The resistant strain, MRSA was first discovered in the UK in 1961 and is now widespread, particularly in the hospital setting where it is commonly termed a superbug.
MRSA may also be known as oxacillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (ORSA) and multiple-resistant Staphylococcus aureus, while non-methicillin resistant strains of S. aureus are sometimes called methicillin-susceptible Staphylococcus aureus (MSSA) if an explicit distinction must be made.
Although MRSA has traditionally been seen as a hospital-associated infection, community-acquired MRSA strains have appeared in recent years, notably in the U.S. and Australia.[2] The abbreviations CA-MRSA (community-associated MRSA) and HA-MRSA (hospital-associated MRSA) are now commonly seen in medical literature.
In layman terms: Baterica infection of the skin(usually a bacterial infection that is resistant to antboitic like penicillin...You never get rid of it and it is often painful...also most drug users like Meth or herion get this kind of bacteria infection. causes repeat infections...Must be lanced in ER and packed. Also a lot of purilent drainage comes out....It was great...
My teaching is done for the day...
I so love mishapen balls. you are a lucky girl.
"smiling inside"....telling it like it is huh? that's revealing. is an ovarian abscess just as funny?
Please post a photo of his balls. Thanks.
Jessica: I didn't love his testical...although I loved pushing on it to get out the yellowish-greenish drainage...I'm still sick I know...It's my mother's fault..my sister and I blame her for everythig that is wrong with us...why wouldn't we?
Anonymous: From the outside I must seem like a weirdo...all I can say is crazy yes, weirdo nahhhh...ovarain cyst...not that great...I can't pop it...and I am all about the girrll power I hate to see women in pain...now men that is a whole different beast...
Mist1 I took pictures, for future enjoyment when I have a bad day...but unfortunatly due to hippa violation I am unable to share the love...I know you are sooo dissappointed...you'll just have to visualize it...think green..
sick....you seem like a sad angry person. girl power? obviously you're a spoiled american brat. try living in another country for awhile. the freedom you have to hate men was won by men with the courage to face certain death and pain beyond your imagination little girl.
anonymous: I can appreciate the good comments as well as the bad...but if you don't get the humour in my blog..I suggest you read else where...you'll always be disappointed...my glass is always half full...
My god anonymous is an absolute asshole.
I sense no anger in you at all darling.
I passed out when you said something about a yellowish discharge.
I am now regaining concsiousness long enough to post this then I will be blacking out again! :)
I'm new here, so I don't get the smiling over the infected balls. Anonymous had me interested because I think he (or I guess it could be a she) was as confused as I was. But I'll probably read further to try to get it. Confusion is my middle name. Or at least that's what Mom told me. She was a liar, though.
~MRSA~ Shivers~
OMG
I HATE that. When I worked in the nursing home, they would refuse patients for the acute care ward w/ MRSA all the time.
~shivers~
Gross. Lances...
LOL ;o)
I read Mist 1
Steve no worries...I was Just joking...always take everything I say with a grain of salt...if your a nurse you got to look at things differently or else you would be crying all the time...plus my family is from Arkanasa...does that help..
Thanks Jess...I knew you would get me...
Super: I knew you would know what MRSA is...smile...
You're from Arkansas? Which end? I'm in Memphis, at the ass end of Tennessee, just across the river from Jonesboro.
