Let us remember....

This is for SGT Ragusa,
He is my soldier that I am supporting till he is home and with his family again. He is a man of deep service to his country, a family man and a man worthy of honoring. Be safe SGT Ragusa till you come home!

Hey again - I got the coffee and cream in the mail today, along with 3 letters. Where do you find the time? I waited until the cool of the evening (90's) to enjoy a cup of coffee. It was awesome.

Thanks again!!!

SGT Rugusa,
I make time for you...as I know that you are out of your comfort zone.
and I am happy you got my mail...you will be getting more letters to hopefully make you smile and make your time just a little more comfortable while you are in Iraq it is my duty...I care and every day you serve I hope that you remember that!!! My father was a Marine in Vietnam and he never had the support of Americans...he lost a little of his self over there and I can't and will not support those who serve...You crossed my path for a reason and what ever that is I hope that you find what you do means something to us here, where I awake everyday knowing that I can speak my mind... and wear my hair however I want...Never underestimate the good that you are doing but because I will never know your sacrifice but I know War...War in the ER and I know what that feels like...

Just telling it like it is said...

I meant that I will support those that serve till I take my last breath

and Okay enough cheese...I hope you get a laugh from my blogs too! Take care and come home safe!

Thanks for the cheese. I can't get enough of it. I'm sorry your Dad had to go through that period. The way this country treated the Vietnam vets is unforgivable. Hopefully he's received some belated love and appreciation since 9/11. People seem to have found a new repect for the military since then.

Love your stories, and joke. Keep them coming.

Did I mention that it's HOT!

Amie - just wanted to let you know that I got a bunch of mail from you, including the box of videos and the book. You're not going to believe this, but I just finished reading "Night" about a week before your package arrived. I read it in about 2 days. I will definitely read the other two stories. It's hard to believe that those events really took place. We better watch the nutjobs in Iran, or it may just happen again. We're about 14 miles from Iran, I don't know why we just don't go take care of business now.

Hope you and Sammie are doing well.
Take care!
